I have tried Craigslist. It’s a $5000 ring and I’d like AT LEAST $1000 for it so I been posting it for about $1400…don’t really get any takers for it. My boyfriend proposed to me in the most unexpected situation..and he did not have a ring with him at that time. Now, we are having an engagement party next month where would exchange the rings. We are going to pick the rings together. Currently we live in different towns and we have decided to have a wedding next year or so..when I end my contract with my company and move to his place. isn’t it customary to exchange rings for wedding as well? So, we get two rings?

I have seen girls wearing an engagement ring with a diamond and a wedding band which is more simpler. But, I have never seen guys wearing two rings!!

I have two rings I plan on resizing. A diamond channel wedding band and a solitare diamond engagement ring. The rings would go up 1.5 sizes. Both are platinum. What kind of things should I talk with the jewler about or be weary of after resizing them?
Well, I handed my ring over to the jewelers and now I have to wait, which is killing me. It should be done by Thursday. I just pray that it comes out just like how it was before but a few sizes up.

So you give an engagment ring (its the fancy one with the diamonds) then on the wedding you give the girl a wedding band? Is this correct or way off? Then afterward you get them joined together?
