bring it to a few jewelry stores. or just explain your situation to your dad and that you are in financial need, and he will most likely give you the reciept for the ring or at least take it back and give you some money. if thats not possible, bring it to several jewlers, and see which one has the best price for you, and you could probably sell it to them, or just have them write something saying how much its worth so you can sell it through ebay or craigslist.

whoa you shouldn’t sell it. even though it’s worth a lot of money it has sentimental value that ring can always help you remember your dad. try another way to get money try a part time job at McDonald’s or burger king or at Macy’s or something. there has to just has to be another way!!!!
damn seven carats thats something I would NOT sell. My moms ring was 3 carats and my dad spent quite a bit on that. It would be worth a lot of money but a ring like that would be something I would advice you to keep.
