sjbchapman asked: I had a ring custom made by a husband of a good friend, and I asked for platinum. I got the rings todtay, and compared to my engagement ring, they look much more yellow, so I’m afraid they’re not platinum! I am so embarassed because I made a big deal about asking him to do this for me, and I don’t know if he did it wrong — I’m too afraid to call and ask.
So I thought maybe I’d ask the opinion of others before I call — what do YOU think is best (i.e. if it turns out its not platinum … which it probably isn’t cause he charged me $600 … should I just keep it and give it to him anyway? It won’t match my rings then, but maybe its better for a guy NOT to have platinum?)
