Well, the diamond is not a very good quality to start with. The color scale starts at E - which is colorless and then goes down from there. A J color stone would have a lot of yellow in it. I would try for something with a color of F or G. Second, the Clarity is I - which means Imperfect. This means flaws are visable with the naked eye. You want to try for something with a VS or VVS grade for Clarity. (This means very slight, or very, very slight inclusions). The stones must be 1 pt each to total 1/3 carat, so they are small. That is okay but you just might want a better quality. Also, you might want to get an 18K gold ring. So, I would put this at about $175.00. Also, white gold is often Rodium Plated to make it appear more white than it is. You might want to find out if this one is plated with Rodium. Plating is okay and will generally last the life of the ring.Otherwise, it will have a slight yellow cast even when sold as White Gold. I would not buy this unless you really can’t afford anything else.
It sounds that the color & purity of the diamonds (I-J) (I1-I2) is too low.
For this low purity and total carat weight of 0.33 it should be not more than $200.
