I want to appaise a diamond ring how do I know iam getting a fare price?

Don’t have it appraised by the person you plan to sell it to.
Just like a Doctor, get more than one opinion. Plus some places do not put it out for sale right away so you have some time to buy it back if you wish.
You will not get anywhere near the value from a pawn broker. Most jewelers are reliable but ask your friends…they can steer you in the right direction. Please be aware that there will be a fee for apprasing the ring. I know someone very trustworthy if you live in AL.
i think u should try a jewerly shop and then compare it to a pawn shop and see wich one gives you a better deal and remeber the sooner the better you get it over with
