diamond wedding rings
AnaBanana?Bananas asked:

I need to raise money for my wedding and this is the only way I can think of without borrowing or loaning money. I actually have two rings, one is a gold solitaire engagement ring and the other one is a 3-stone diamong ring. The solitaire ring looks new as I haven’t used it too long. I bought it a year ago just for investment.

My wedding is in three weeks and hopefully somebody can help me out. Either buy the ring or an advice as to what I can do. I tried pawning it but it was so low. Thank you in advance.
Well I bought for myself because I dont need any guy to buy me one. My fiancee gave me one, so I wanna sell my ring. I actually bought it just because I liked it.
*I bought it for myself.

I would sell it on ebay or craigslist.

I’ve never heard of someone buying a ring for an “investment”.

You invested in a diamond ring?

    That was…unwise.

Pawn the worthless hunk of carbon and get some overtime at work.

Try ebay and be sure to set a reserve price at the lowest you are willing to sell it for or else you’ll have to sell it for what ever the winning bid price is regardless of how low it is.

You should have had the money saved for the wedding before this. You do not have a wedding that you can not pay for. You should have eloped. Weddings are over rated. You have not said what you have left to pay for, I need more info. You could get a loan… Again, you have not told us the whole story.

You got a diamond ring as an investment? I sure hope you’re kidding. If you’re not, consider it an expensive lesson learned.

try ebay to sell your ring set a reserve on it so u get really what your looking for and how long you want to leave it running for to get the best price and good luck with the wedding next time though use a saving’s account instead of buying something that really is not doing you any favours goot luck with everything and have a fantastic day

sorry to burst your money bubble but there is no resale value to speak of for rings. i dont know what you paid of course, but used rings are hard to sell. look on ebay or craigslist, go to a reputable jeweler, you will find out that the price they would give you is about all you are gonna get.

    next time buy gold bars.

Go get an appraisal, THEN sell it on Ebay. You would get more with documentation.
