It is a 2 carat princess cut stone. In some pictures the stone looks blue, almost like a bright turquoise.

The lighting contrasting to the reflection on the flash in the camera might cause the color of the stone to change. Try different lighting to see if that solves the problem. Also, your diamond might be a special type of stone that changes when you enter some sort of different surrounding.( Going outside of a classroom.) I know it sounds strange, but my friends mom is a gemist and she has taught me plenty of things!

You probably have some fluorescence in your diamond. Fluorescence is a characteristic that makes some diamonds appear to change color when they are exposed to the ultraviolet light that surrounds us every day in sunlight and in the light produced by fluorescent light bulbs.Nothing to be concerned about.
