If the seller has less than 97% feedback and has a lot of negative comments, don’t buy… If it’s a new seller with less than 97% but has good comments, go for it. 97% feedback or higher, go for it!

yes definitely make sure the seller doesn’t have negative feedback! Just like buying anything off line its like checking I always check if businesses are in good standing before I even buy a $10 item.

Definitely check for feedback and return policy. Also, if you pay with Paypal, there are certain things you can do to protect yourself if you’re not legitimately satisfied with the item. If all else fails you can do a chargeback after you return the item.
The seller should be able to tell you the “C”s of the diamond and may even have paperwork to show you.

Contact seller. Ask specifics on ring. Also, look at their reviews.

If you use paypal, use a credit card and not credit/debit.

Oh, and make sure it is not “clarity enhanced.” That means it is a low quality diamond-in terms of clarity and they “fix flaws.”

Make sure the diamond has a certificate describing its features.

Check the Feedback on the seller. Make sure that they’ve been selling with eBay for a while.
    Read the description very carefully,.
Take a really good look at the picture, the return policy.
When you Search, specify “North America”, that way you won’t have to worry as much.
Definitely use PayPal, that way you’ve got some Buyer Protection.
Oh, and keep an eye out for terms like, “lab-created” or “enhanced”.
