diamond wedding rings
hey lady asked:

okay so i have a 1 carat princess cut solitare I am looking at eternity bands…. do you think a eternity band with round diamonds would look silly with my ring?? Any suggestion of a wedding band for my princess cut solitare?

Actually two bands with round diamonds on either side of a pricess cut diamond looks beautiful.

I personally don’t think there is anything wrong with it. I guess it depends on whether or not you want the styles to match. My ring is an emerald cut center stone with a baguette on either side. I’m having a hard time finding a wedding band to match. All the jewelers keep telling me the bands don’t look right that I try on. However, I’m planning on going with whatever I like. It’s up to you… you are wearing it. I think it will look just fine

Well, it really is up to what you like since you have to be the one wearing it.

Personally, I do not care for the eternity bands. I don’t see wasting the money on diamonds that will never be seen? I also like things to compliment each other.

If you have a princess cut solitaire, compliment it with a princess cut band.

I attached a VERY close up pic of my set. (ha ha, maybe too close!) It gives you an idea what look you would be similar to. Just ignore the side diamonds on my engagement ring. For reference: Mine is also a 1 carat princess cut, Color: E and my band is .5 carats.

That wouldn’t match. It’s much more striking to have a plain band. If you had shoulder stones, then it would look okay to have some diamonds the same size as those on a band.
