When I was married the first time, I got my wedding rings soldered together. Now that I am divorced and my children are getting older, I think about what I am going to do with my rings. I would like to give the band to my son and the diamond to my daughter. Can a jeweler get them apart without harming them?

yes, he can get them apart and then polish the edges to make them look super duper again!
They can cut then with a band-saw and then sand them to smooth out any imperfections
