diamond wedding rings
Santhia C asked:

and why is it bad for the groom to see the wife with the dress before the wedding, even though he see it or not, they will have problems in the marriage? and why the men’s rings are plain, they are not fancy as the rings that the wives have?

I love my wedding ring!!! and it is very real…… not seeing the bride in her dress or before the wedding in just a superstition it doesn’t really effect anything if he does. There are some men’s wedding rings that are just as fancy as the women’s, but must men just don’t like them.

The only thing I can say about the groom not seeing the bride beforehand is that it is a nice surprise for the groom. I think that most men do not want fancy or flashy jewelry in our society. My ring is real but I forget the size-not so big but nice. I like it because I picked it. Problems in marriage have little to do with the groom seeing the bride before the wedding. But if you are superstitious it could bother you.

I was 17 when I got engaged. Obviously we didnt have a lot of money so the ring I got had a very small diamond but it was real. Now that we can afford to buy a nice ring I wont let my husband replace it because I believe that the sentiment of it is more important than the cost. The dress thing is just an old wives tale. I think that it is more special if he doesnt see you until you walk down the aisle, however your either gonna have problems or your not. The dress will not affect that. Besides, all marriages have some problems, you just have to be committed and work them out. They do make some fancier mens bands that have diamonds inlaid in them, etc. My husbands band has a scroll design engraved in it to match my band.

I love my wedding band. Ours match, no diamonds. It looks very nice with my engagement ring. Don’t know why it’s bad luck, but why go against tradition?

It was real and very small. We were young(he18 and me16). I was very happy with it. I love him and the ring is not the most important thing. A marriage is about the love you share not the size of your diamond. i do have to say though he bought me solitaire ring later on when we were better off. We celebrated 12 years this last april. I still love him. every marriage has problems it’s how you deal with them that counts. They do have some fancy rings for men or you can one special made. My husbands ring has a heart symbol on it, when worn facing his heart it’s a sign he is with his true love but if worn the other way it means friends. You can have rings made for a reasonable price if you look around. His first ring was a gold band and it got caught in something at work.

My engagement ring has a real diamond, but the wedding ring is a plain gold band - his is too.

I love my ring. We went ring shopping together and of course, it’s real.

Men can have fancier rings, but I don’t know of many men that would want a ring that would rival his wife’s. Kinda girly, don’t ya think?
