the car is used, but the owner moved away where i have no clue where he is.
n its real. YEAH its real

!its best to locate the owner and hand it directly to the woman. they can be best located through police help, as they can find the previous owners easily. do not give or show police the ring, and when they are located, then ask them if they ever lost any ring and that you have found a precious ring in the car. let them explain and describe what kind of ring she lost. if it matches, then its hers, otherwise it’s for you to keep, or you can sell it!!!
Did you buy it secondhand from the original owner or from a dealership? If you got it from a dealership, then you can go back to them, and tell them that you have a ring that may belong to him, hopefully they will have a cell number, that you can contact him on, if he hasnt changed it.
I guess that’s really up to you. If I only had the car for a few months, I would contact the police and ask for help finding the rightful owner. If it had been years … I would try to find out who the previous owner was. But if I didn’t succeed - I’d sell it on ebay.
Of course, if there are any important ladies in your life (including your mom) it would be nice to make sure they don’t want it first. My ex won a BEAUTIFUL necklace at an auction and sold it for 40 bucks! It really hurt to know that he cared more about his pockets than my smile.
Oh yeah, also before you get rid of the ring, ask the girls to make sure it’s not theirs. Say you found a ring in your car and think it may have belonged to a previous owner but want to make sure they didn’t loose it first. If they say it was theirs - tell them to describe it. Even if they were young, they could have been holding on to it for someone else. Or it could have belonged to a family member.
It’s yours*
